With profound sadness, we say goodbye to James E. Buckley of Paris, Illinois, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas J. Buckley and Helen Buckley (Freevol). He is survived by: his son Thomas Buckley of Gulf Shores, Alabama; his stepchildren, Tammy Eslinger of Paris and Jade "Butch" Frazee of Paris; his brother John Buckley of Chicago, Illinois; his son-in-law Archie Eslinger of Paris; and his grandchildren, Taylor Buckley (Vicki), Austin Buckley (Concha Rangel), Coltin Buckley, Skylar Buckley (Jim Elledge), Hayden Buckley, Breanna Astrosky (Jon Willmoth), Dustin Eslinger (Krislyn Brown), John Bryant Eslinger (Grace Joseph), Tony Eslinger (Christina) and Rebecca Eslinger. He is also survived by fifteen great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Templeton Funeral Home - Paris (600 E Court St, Paris, IL 61944). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, February 19th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
For those who wish, the family suggests that memorials be made to Edgar County Shrine Club or to a children's charity of the donor's choice.
