We are sad to announce that on September 1, 2019, at the age of 89, Jack Swarthout (Paris, Illinois), born in Niles, Michigan passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl John and Winifred Ann Swarthout (Doty). He is survived by: his wife Barbara Elaine Stearns; his children, Paul Swarthout (Nanette) of Chesterfield and Susan Kimbley (Dave) of Colorado Springs, Colorado; his granddaughters, Jenny Kimbley of Denver and Heather Kohlhase (Ralph) of Monument, Colorado; his great grandchildren, Adam and Scott Kohlhase; his brother-in-law Karl Stearns, Jr. (Linda) of Mason, Michigan; his niece Kathy Hansz of Cheboygan, Michigan; and his nephew Ken Stearns (Jackie) of Gainesville.

Accordingly, the family suggests that memorials be made to that cause.
