We are sad to announce that on May 16, 2023, at the age of 82, Gordon W. Whitezel of Paris, Illinois, born in Miami, Indiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John W. and Mary F. Whitezel (Kendall); and his wife Myrna Hill. He is survived by: his children, Marlene Wardell of Vermilion, Brenda Ray (Bryan) of Paris and Brian Whitezel (Lorelei) of Paris; and his sisters, Martha Lee Hippensteel of Carmel and Marilyn Banks (Roger) of Sherman, Texas. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and several nieces and nephews.
For those who wish, the family suggests that memorials be made to the American Lung Association.
