He was predeceased by: his parents, Virguel Brooks and Lela Fern Brooks (Rhoads); and his great grandchild Abel Weston Rival Pine. He is survived by: his children, Ashley Malone (Tim) of Paris and Robin Brooks of Paris, Illinois; his grandchildren, Cara Brooks of Paris, Lindsey Malone of Paris, Makenzie Means (Bailey) of Brocton, Allison Dillon of Paris and Katelyn Malone of Paris; and his brother James A. Brooks (Edith) of Greer. He is also survived by his four great-grandsons.
