We bid farewell to Frieda Lucille Sudduth of Paris, Illinois, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on January 19, 2025 at the age of 102. Frieda Lucille touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Everett Carpenter and Grace Kauffman; her husband Charles "Corky" Sudduth; her sister Helen Rhyan (Carpenter); and her niece Priscilla Myers.
She is survived by: her son Terry Sudduth of Paris; her grandchildren, Janah Sudduth-Mottola (Gregg Mottola) of Tolono and Skylar Sudduth (Kelly Pease) of Litchfield; her great grandchildren, Sumner, Valentino and Ilyanna Mottola of Tolono; her siblings, Mary Bowman of Terre Haute, IN, Saundra Van Gilden of High Point, NC and Jim Carpenter of Paris; her great-nephew Scott Myers of Paris; and her grandchild Halloween.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the St. Mary's Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to St. Mary's Catholic Church or the Edgar County Animal Shelter.
