She was predeceased by: her parents, Hershel Brown and Ruth Howald Brown; her husband Thomas Mattingly; and her siblings, Katherine Sturgell, Maxine Cochran, Forrest Brown (Bud), Warren Brown and Bill Brown.
She is survived by: her daughters, Bobbi Mattingly, Nancy Mattingly James and Beth Mattingly Chandler; and her great grandchildren, Kathy Phillips and Marian Mattingly. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren.
A rosary was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 at 3:30 PM at the Stewart and Carroll Funeral Home (303 E Wood St, Paris, IL 61944). Visitation was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Mary's Catholic Church (528 N Main St, Paris, IL 61944).
