He was predeceased by: his parents, Lloyd Strader and Doris Strader (Thompson); and his siblings, Charles, James, John, Harold Strader and Pauline Hood.
He is survived by: his wife Iva M. Johnson; his children, Floyd E. Strader, Jr. (Dena) of Leadville, Michael Lloyd Strader (Michele) of Clinton, Indiana, LaDonna Lynn Young (Scott) of Paris and Samantha Anne Wombles of Kansas, Illinois; and his sister Maxine Shoot of Ashmore, Illinois. He is also survived by seventeen grandchildren; seventeen great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
