It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Dorothy C. Holt of Paris, Illinois, who passed away on November 19, 2020, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William S. Williamson and Josephine Williamson (Jones); her former husband Ronald E. Nugent; her husband Jack O. Holt; her daughter Debra Lynn Nugent; and her siblings, Don, Bill, Orville Williamson and Alta Athey Shonk.
She is survived by: her sons, Ronald L. Nugent (Nila) of Paris and Gregory A. Nugent of Paris; and her stepdaughters, Lorri Holt of Nevada City, Valinda Woods (Floyd) of Paris, Sherri Elledge (Ruel) of Paris and Jenna Tessman of Paris. She is also survived by five grandchildren; five step-grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren; eleven step-great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
For those who wish, the family suggests that memorials be made to Faith in Action of Edgar County or to American Legion Post #211 Auxiliary.
