He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Comstock and Betty Comstock (Pinnell); and his brother Arnold Comstock. He is survived by: his children, Donald Comstock Jr. (Lynne) of La Porte, Heather Richards (Matt) of McLeansboro, Heath Comstock (Nichole) of Paris, Jacob Comstock of Paris, Garrett Comstock of Marshall and Benjamin James "B. J." Comstock (Chelsea) of Martinsville; and his siblings, Diane Tapscott (Terry) of Paris, Steve Comstock (Nita) of Paris and Mike Comstock of Paris. He is also survived by 21 grandchildren and one great grandchild.
In keeping with State of Illinois mandates due to COVID-19 Pandemic, all services are private and limited to family only.
