She was predeceased by: her parents, Ealey Clifford and Inez Elizabeth Mankins (Myers); her husband James Arthur Tapscott; her stepfather Bryan Crowder; and her siblings, Jesse, Leo, Max, Mickey Mankins, Lois Silotto and Patricia Roberts.
She is survived by: her sisters, Bertha Pearman of Clinton, Indiana, Julia Riggen (Elmer) of Clinton, Indiana and Marian "Moyne" Carroll of Clinton, Indiana. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
