She was predeceased by: her parents, John Melton and Lucy Melton (Gordon); and her husband Arthur Allen Young, Jr.. She is survived by: her daughters, Penny Donovan of Paris and Bonnie Carpenter of Wheatcroft, Kentucky; and her sister Mary McHenry of Marion, Indiana. She is also survived by six grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren, and ten great-great grandchildren.
