He was predeceased by: his parents, Chester W. and Bertha Garvin Sr. (Johnson); and his brothers, David, Darrell and George Garvin.
He is survived by: his spouse Chris Ann Scribner; his children, Matthew W. Garvin of Paris and Angie L. Atkinson of Charleston, Illinois; his sister Becky Etchison (Bill) of Paris, Illinois; and his grandchildren, Ethan, Lane, Jaida Atkinson, Chelsee, Johnathon and Landon Garvin.
