He was predeceased by: his parents, Norman Eugene and Opal Leona LeLoup (Beaugher); and his siblings, Edna Clark, Emile LeLoup, Robert LeLoup and Leona LeLoup.

He is survived by: his wife Nancy Foote (Brown); his children, Stephen LeLoup (Amanda) of Lafayette and Elizabeth LeLoup of Lafayette; and his brother Leonard LeLoup (Elizabeth) of Paris.

For those who wish, the family suggests that memorials be made to the Paris First Church of the Nazarene.
