Carolyn A. Lanker Obituary

We are sad to announce that on April 14, 2023, at the age of 93, Carolyn A. Lanker of Paris, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Elsie Kimble (Landes) and Lawson Kimble; and her son Eric. She is survived by: her husband William Lanker; her children, Lois Doherty, Dr. William, Lewis, Emily Thomas (Jacob), Merry, Angus, Bess, Elise, Olivia, Clay, Marisa, Cain, Corbin, Delaney (Sean Wood), Caleb (Mikeely) and Natalie; and her great grandchildren, Joseph and Aviva Thomas. She is also survived by fourteen grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

For those who wish, the family suggests that memorials be made to First Christian Church of Paris or to the Edgar County Historical Society.
