He was predeceased by: his father Richard Hagan Wilken of Braintree; his wife Sharon Louise Hood; his brother Richard Elliott Wilken, Sr.; and his brothers-in-law, William Cappy Gilbert and Claude Buzzy Briggs.
He is survived by: his sons, Andrew R. Wilken (Billie Jo) of Paris, David A. Wilken (Kathleen) of Ludlow and Peter F. Wilken (Becky) of Ridge Farm, Illinois; his grandchildren, Nicholas Wilken, Ethan Wilken, William Ames, Hunter Tischendorf, Katie Wilken, Savannah Taylor and Logan Doggett; his sisters, Cindy Gilbert-Carney (Wilken) of Ashland and Ruth Briggs (French) of Chelsea, Maine; and his sisters-in-law, Georgianna Hood (Schenk) of Lodi and Goody Wilken (Goodman) of Paris. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
