With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Betty J. Ray of Paris, Illinois, who passed away on August 25, 2020 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father Albert S. Legg; her husband Hiram L. Ray; her mother Beulah Collins (Ethridge); her stepfather Clarence Collins; her son David Ray; her grandson Rion Henness; her siblings, Vernon, Robert Legg, Barbara Carlyle, Norma LeClerq and Doris Legg; and her grandson-in-law Daniel Bell.
She is survived by: her daughters, Kathy J. Williams (Michael) of Paris, Cindy L. Burns (Mark) of Ruston and Jennifer L. Henness (Mike) of Paris; her grandchildren, Amy Bell, Allison Jett (Kyle), Blake Burns (Jillian), Ashley Hofford (Patrick), Logan Henness (Kiera Perry), Madison Henness (Mack Newson) and Luken Henness; her great grandchildren, Vanessa Rutter (Joe), Colton Burns, Braydon Burns, Levi Burns, Hudson Burns, Legend Jett, Isabella Burns, Meadow Burns, Maggie Hofford, Gage Snipe, Christian Hofford and Rhyan Aurora Newson; and her great great grandchild Michael W. C. Rutter. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
