She was predeceased by: her parents, Clinton Brown and Frances Brown (Malone); her daughter Sandra Korte; her sons-in-law, Raymond Moore, Dan Mohler and Daniel Scott; and her siblings, Albert, Eugene, Patrick, Bradley, Warren Brown and Adelphia Needham.
She is survived by: her husband John Jay Dorothy Jr.; her daughters, Rebecca S. Moore of Paris and Deborah Scott of Paris; her grandchildren, Bradley Korte (Genevieve), Darrick Korte (Kara), Logan Korte (Alyssa Camp) and Garrett Eveland; and her great grandchildren, Nolan, Reese, Gavin, Gabe and Haisley Korte. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
For those who wish, the family suggests that memorials be made to the American Cancer Society or to the Edgar County Humane Association.
