She was predeceased by: her parents, Karl and Margaret Stearns, Sr. (Kurk). She is survived by: her husband Jack Swarthout; her children, Paul Swarthout (Nanette) of Chesterfield and Susan Kimbley (Dave) of Colorado Springs, Colorado; her brother Karl Stearns, Jr. (Linda) of Mason, Michigan; her granddaughters, Jenny Kimbley of Denver and Heather Kohlhase (Ralph) of Monument, Colorado; her great grandchildren, Adam and Scott Kohlhase; her niece Kathy Hansz of Cheboygan, Michigan; and her nephew Ken Stearns (Jackie) of Gainesville.
