He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd Gill and Beulah Switzer Gill; and his sister Dorothy (Harlie Brosman). He is survived by: his children, Allen Gill (Robin) of Okawville and Darla McClure of Paris; his stepsons, Bob Coartney (Resa) of New Albany and Jim Wilkey (Lynn) of Terre Haute; his grandchildren, Madison Wilkey of Terre Haute, Paige Wilkey of Terre Haute and Camryn Wilkey of Terre Haute; and his sisters, Patsy Tingley of Paris, Marian Brinkerhoff of Champaign and Judy Salmon (Jim) of Grayslake. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In keeping with the Federal Mandates due to COVID-19, the service is limited to immediate family only.
