He was predeceased by: his parents, Ballard L. Compton and June R. Compton (Michel); and his sister Rita. He is survived by: his siblings, Joe Compton of Pinckneyville, Becky Schmitt of Litchfield, Mary Moore of Panama, Mike Compton of Litchfield, Pat Lentz of Panama, Dan Compton of Franklin, TN and Roger Compton of Edwardsville. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
