It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William Dean (Pana, Illinois), born in Taylorville, Illinois, who passed away on October 24, 2019, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Vernard Dean and Margaret Dean (Farr); and his brother Bernard Dean. He is survived by: his wife Rosie J. Dean of Pana; his children, April K. Hannant (Mark) of Taylorville, Jennifer Martz (Chuck) of Indianola, Iowa, Aaron Dean (Bobbie) and Marc Gilpin (Sheila) of Marietta, Georgia; his stepdaughter Jacquie Lees (Joe) of Pana; his grandchildren, Erin Hannant, Alyssa, Emma, Will, Shane Martz, Reagan and Austin Gilpin; his stepgrandchildren, Erica Lees (Scott) and Joshua Lees (Michelle); his great grandchildren, Brayden and Benjamin Martz; his stepgreat-grandchildren, Carson, Spencer, Ryker Peters and Sophia Lees; and his siblings, Bob Dean (Yolanda) of Jeiseyville and Patricia Eades of Colorado. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
