He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Eugene and Maxine Mae File (Brauckmiller). He is survived by: his children, Chris Johnson of Pana, IL, Tom File (Jackie) of Pana, IL, Jenni Kugel (Brian) of Pana, IL and Becky File of Pana, IL; and his siblings, Ronda Wood of Tower Hill, IL, Carol File of Cypress, TX, Dennis File of Tower Hill, IL, Linda File of Henton, IL, Janet Ade of Pana, IL and Rick File of Marshall, IL.. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 26th 2024 at 8:00 AM at the McCracken-Dean Funeral Home (308 E 2nd St, Pana, IL 62557). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, November 26th 2024 at 9:30 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Tuesday, November 26th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 11:15 AM at the Camp Butler National Cemetery (5063 Camp Butler Rd, Springfield, IL 62707).
Memorials in Thomas' honor may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital and will be accepted by McCracken-Dean Funeral Home who is assisting the family.
