We are sad to announce that on July 20, 2023, at the age of 89, Susan Jane Walter of Pana, Illinois, born in Shelbyville, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Whitrock and Lucy Whitrock (White); and her husband James H. Walter. She is survived by: her children, Deborah Johnston (Larry), Ramsey, Brenda Gelsinger (Mike) of Pana, IL, Diana Jenkins (Randy) of Goreville, IL, James Walter, Jr. (Sharon) of Tower Hill, IL, Doug Walter (Melody) of Pana, IL and Brian Walter (Kelly) of Pana, IL; and her grandchildren, Stacey, Penny, Jennifer, Clint, Chad, Curtis, Lauren, Jamie, Casey, Calen, Clayton, Whitney, Alex, Kodi and Madison. She is also survived by 17 great grandchildren.
Memorials in Susan's honor may be made to Celebration Community Church, Pana and will be accepted by McCracken-Dean Funeral Home who is assisting the family.
