He was predeceased by: his parents, Chester Calvin and Shirley Ann Mundy (Goans); his wife Connie Joe Andrus; his son James Dale Mundy; his stepson Michael Eakle; and his niece Stacy Battles.
He is survived by: his siblings, Gloria Palmer of Pana, IL, Chester Allen Mundy (Vicki) of Gaffny, SC and Renee Mashburn (Steve) of Pana, IL; his stepchildren, Evan Kyle Mundy (Corrin) of Mattoon, IL, Shannon Pendlay (Robert) of Watson, IL and Dana Wiseman (Dathen) of Taylorville, IL; and his grandchildren, Lyvia, Sophia, Addison, Edith, Vernon, Chloe, Deven, Brenden, Dakota, Seth, Dagen, Kindell, Dustin and Makaylynn. He is also survived by 4 great grandchildren and several nieces & nephews.
Memorials in Rodney's honor may be made to the Loaves & Fishes Food Pantry, Pana and will be accepted by McCracken-Dean Funeral Home who is assisting the family.
