He was predeceased by: his parents, LaVerne Ehresman and Irene Ehresman (Davis); his stepmother Dorothy Ehresman (Ringenberg); and his sister Sandra Ehresman. He is survived by: his wife Sharon Kay Henderson; his children, Brodie Ehresman (Kymberli) of Wayland, MI, Ken Ehresman (Barb) of Pontiac, IL and Shelly Ehresman of San Diego, CA; his grandchildren, Brandi Ehresman, Whitney Ehresman, Kenny Ehresman (Jessica), David Ehresman and Lisa Ehresman-Putney (Matthew); his sisters, Barb Kalkwarf of Minonk, IL and Joyce Ehresman West Sacramento; and his stepbrother Norm Ringenberg (Carolyn) of Flanagan, IL..

In lieu of flowers, memorials in Robert's honor may be made to the Alzheimer's Association to aid in Alzheimer's & Dementia Research (http://www.alz.org) and will be accepted by McCracken-Dean Funeral Home of Pana IL who is assisting the family.

“It is always difficult to lose those you love,especially family members. I will forever cherish my childhood memories of growing up on the farm with Robert and Barb. We did have some good times although l know I was a pain in their lives at times.I remember Robert as being generous,kind and loving. He had a good sense of humor and a great smile. I will miss him a lot but look forward to seeing him on the other side. In loving memory,Joyce.”
