It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rita Marie Ruot of Pana, Illinois, born in Shelbyville, Illinois, who passed away on October 31, 2020, at the age of 62, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Leo Flesch and Eleanor Flesch (Temmen); her husband Kenneth John "Beans" Ruot; her stepmother Pauline Fry Flesch; her sister Carol Ragan; her grandson Aidyn Ruot; and her great grandchild Wren Carter Cox.
She is survived by: her children, Lea Jackson (Kenny), Crissy Evrley (Chris) and Jake Ruot (Meagan); her grandchildren, Tanner, Peyton Jackson, Candace, Brodee Smart, Conner Edwards, Camryn, Caleb Adams, Parker Ruot, Kaydee and Paydon Evrley; her great grandchild Harlee Jackson; her siblings, Linda Schmitz (Paul) and Jim Flesch; and her stepsiblings, Gary Fry (Peg), Roger Fry (Elaine), Joann Ewing (Bud) and Sherilyn Bramon (Mike).
Memorials in Rita's honor may be made to Heritage Heath or Pana Community Hospital Foundation for Quad County Hospice and will be accepted by McCracken-Dean Funeral Home who is assisting the family.
