He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Kasten and Vashti Kasten (French); and his sisters, Mildred, Caroline and Rachel.
He is survived by: his former spouse Loia Michael; his daughter Joan Leann Kasten of Moline, IL; and his sisters, Margaret Moeller of Valparaiso, IN and Mary-Anne Sanders. He is also survived by 11 nieces & nephews.
