He was predeceased by: his parents, Frederick Berthal and Laura Belle Haslett (Sidwell); his siblings, Kenny, Bobbie Haslett and Iris Haslett; his siblings-in-law, Reta Haslett, Doris Haslett and Danny Ray; and his nephew Mike Haslett.
He is survived by: his wife Elaine Poland; his children, Jay Haslett (Lynn) of Shelbyville and Tammy Grotts (Robert) of Pana; his sister Mary Jane Ray of Slidell, Louisiana; his grandchildren, Ashley Bauer (Rich), Megan Meachum (Cody) and Jason Grotts (Rachael); and his great grandchildren, Adelaide, Isabelle, Ryden Bauer, Logan, Emily and Harper Meachum. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
