She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Demascal and Mary Demascal (McWorter); her former husband Daniel Phillipi; her husband Preceding; and her siblings, David Demascal and Monica Demascal.

She is survived by: her children, Dena Tucker (Charles) of Pana, IL, Michael Scoles (Kelly) of Taylorville, IL and Lawrence Scoles (Danielle) of Pana; her stepson Daniel Phillipi (Nitiya) of Blue Mound, IL; and her brothers, Joseph Michael Demascal (Diana) of Louisiana, Lawrence E. Demascal of Shelbyville, IL and Robert Mark Demascal (Latisha) of Atwood, IL.. She is also survived by eighteen grandchildren; six great-grandchildren.
