She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Charles and Anna Schneider (Bangert); and her siblings, Charles Schneider, Harold Schneider and Vivian Hawker.

She is survived by: her children, Jackie Lewis (Paul) of Pana, IL and Eric Jostes (Debby) of Pana, IL; her grandsons, Matthew Lewis (Whitney), Aaron Jostes (Laura), Michael Jostes (Bobi Jo) and Philip Jostes (Samantha); her great grandchildren, Dallas Lewis, Lillian Jostes, Ethan Jostes, Lauren Stadtler, Ella Jostes, Kara Jostes, Kaley Jostes and Colin Jostes; and her sisters, Eleanor Ovca (Ed) of Taylorville, IL, Melba Wiseman of Nokomis, IL and Virginia Wernsing of Raymond, IL..

Memorials in Lois' honor may be made to First United Methodist Church, Pana; Fairview United Methodist Church or Pana Community Hospital Foundation and will be accepted by McCracken-Dean Funeral Home who is assisting the family.
