She is survived by: her father Fred Shaffner of Pana, IL; her significant other Jason Hrabak; her children, Kristen Cook (AJ), Alex Murray (Kristina Hoover) and Allison Murray; her stepchildren, Jamie Hunter, Anna Hrabak and Rebel Hrabak; her granddaughter Ava Hoover; her siblings, Jerry Shaffner (Cathy) of Nokomis, IL and Chris Shaffner (Tina) of Pana, IL; her nephew Michael Shaffner (Mayline) of Pana, IL; her great-nephews, Mateo Shaffner and Miguel Shaffner; her close friend James Hunter; and her friends, Pat and Gary Cason.
Memorials in Kathy's memory may be made to the family and will be accepted by McCracken-Dean Funeral Home who is assisting the family.
