We are sad to announce that on January 12, 2023 we had to say goodbye to Josephine Morez of Pana, Illinois, born in Nokomis, Illinois. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father Herman Johnson; her husband Louis Morez; her son Butch Morez; her grandson Jason Morez; and her brothers, Raymond Johnson, Walter Johnson and Jesse Johnson.
She is survived by: her daughter Diane Slater (David) of Pana, IL; her daughter-in-law Tena Morez of Greenfield, IN; her grandchildren, Stacy Dick (Dan), Scott Slater (Joanne), Bermuda and Katie Garst (Michael) of Greenfield, IN; her great grandchildren, Elliott Dick, Johanna Dick, Logan Slater, Keira Slater, Cason Garst and Carter Garst; and her extended family, Carol Schramm and Judy Schramm.
Memorials in Jo's honor may be made to Pana Community Hospital Foundation or Pana First United Methodist Church and will be accepted by McCracken-Dean Funeral Home who is assisting the family.
