It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Johnny Beck (Pana, Illinois), who passed away on September 15, 2019, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesse Benton and Zelma Beck (Jones); his wife Rosemary Vits; and his siblings, Cyril Beck, Cecil Beck, Raymond Beck, Rollie Beck and Jerry Beck.
He is survived by: his daughters, Mary Lynn Smith (Billy) of Ohlman and Janie Schmitz (Don) of Oconee; his grandchildren, Miranda Smith, Christina Ward (Brandon), Bonnie Smith (Joel Jones), Kyle Schmitz (Tiffany) and Eric Schmitz (Lena); his great grandchildren, Dean Schmitz, Reid Schmitz, Barron Ward, Ethan Ward, Shylin Ward and Chloe Jones; and his siblings-in-law, Teresa "Toots" Beck of Oconee and Leon "Junior" Vits (Betty) of Pana.
