We are sad to announce that on February 27, 2020, at the age of 81, Harry Ray Curtis (Pana, Illinois), born in Browns, Illinois passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Harry Ray Curtis to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, George Curtis and Beatrice Curtis (Ginther); his brother Bob Curtis; his siblings-in-law, Mamie Curtis and Fred Brewer; and his nephew Tom White.
He is survived by: his wife Janice Kay Bookhout; his children, Susan McGrath (Tim) of Pana, Jeff Curtis (Lisa) of Firestone, CO and John Curtis (Katie Pape) of Chicago; his grandchildren, Lincoln (Sawyer McGrath), Zack Tribbett, Connor (Grant Curtis) and Cosette Curtis-Pape; and his sisters, Betty Brewer and Mary Harris (Cliff). He is also survived by nine nieces and nephews; and many great- nieces and nephews.
He was able to help others through his donation to Gift of Hope. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials to Pana Youth Basketball or Pana Christian Church and will be accepted by McCracken-Dean Funeral Home who is assisting the family.
