It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Freda M. Brewer of Pana, Illinois, born in Christopher, Illinois, who passed away on September 4, 2020, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Ralston and Bessie Ralston (Barton); her husband John W. Brewer; her son-in-law Robert Swenny; and her siblings, Martha Simpson, Dorothy Tice, Dixie Ralston and Emil Ralston.

She is survived by: her daughters, Janet Penwell (Craig) of Indianapolis, IN, Nancy Swenny of Pana, IL, Vicki Brown (Nat) of Canton, GA and Linda Castleman of Springfield, IL; and her siblings, Gary Ralston (Linda) of Eldorado, IL. and Sharon Ralston of Eldorado, IL.. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren: 16 great-grandchildren: 1 great-great grandchild.

McCracken-Dean Funeral Home is assisting the family and will accept the memorial contributions for the hospital.
