She was predeceased by: her father Orville Ralph "Fritz"; her husband Larry E. Rakers; and her pet Tay. She is survived by: her mother Carmen Mizeur (Christman) of Pana, IL; her sons, Eric Rakers (Tara) and Jeremy Rakers (Amanda) of Normal, IL; her grandchildren, Connor Rakers (Brittney Siegmund), Logan Rakers, Brady Rakers, Chloe Rakers, Dustin Tebedo (Morgan) and Hunter Tebedo; her brother Kirk Mizeur of Pana, IL; her nephew Dustin Mizeur of Springfield, IL; and her pet Scout. She is also survived by her family & friends, her grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorials in Cindy's honor be given to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or JDRF (Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation) and will be accepted by McCracken-Dean Funeral Home who is assisting the family.
