He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Rakers and Carrie Rakers (Warner); his wife Nancy Eloise Hinton; his son David Michael Rakers; and his brothers, Don Rakers and Robert Carl Rakers.
He is survived by: his grandson Michael Rakers of Pana, IL; and his great grandchild Austin Fikan. He is also survived by 5 nieces & nephews.
