He was predeceased by: his wife Stella Tortorich; his daughter Shari Danno (late Sonny); his parents, Frank Tortorich and Rose Tortorich; and his siblings, Rose Carnagio (John) and Sam Tortorich (Rose).

He is survived by: his children, Debra Siwinski (Gary) and Frank Tortorich (Julie); his grandchildren, Leah Siwinski, Michael Siwinski (Emily), Elyse Siwinski, Joseph Tortorich (Lauren), Anthony Tortorich (Christina), Gianna Coffman (Austin) and Gina Danno; his great grandchildren, Milo Siwinski, Mackenzie Coffman, Frank, Ethan, Jude, Claire, Maxwell, Calvin, Lorelei and Eloise Tortorich; and his brother Frank Tortorich Jr.. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.

“Our heart is breaking for all of you! We were so blessed to meet Joe at Cordia. He always had a smile on his face-even when he was in pain. He was quick to get our mom (Eileen) a mocha from the machine in the cafe. We talked frequently on the phone and I tried to visit when we were in town. He touched so many people and will be missed!
