He was predeceased by: his wife Barbara (Nee Wish); his parents, Anna Shields and George Shields; and his siblings, Robert (late Lois) and Jerry Shields.
He is survived by: his children, Pamela Pauls (Art), Jeffrey Shields and Sharon Munari (Mike); his grandchildren, Jenn Chasse, Chris Chasse, Anthony Munari, Jeffrey Jr. Shields (Val), Alyssa Mitchell (Kevin) and Joey Shields (Alyssa); and his great grandchildren, Aurora, Mila, Remi, Aaralyn, Bennet, River and Juniper.
