It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Geraldine Fornek of Palos Park, Illinois, who passed away on December 7, 2024, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Geraldine Fornek to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her husband Leonard Fornek; and her brothers, Ed (late Arlene) and Frank Dorencz (late Jean). She is survived by: her children, Michael (Kristine), Mary and Christine Barcelona (Jim); her grandchildren, Adam (Danielle), Luke, Sarah (Brian), Jake, Eric, Jackson and Ashley; and her great grandchildren, Jayden, Caylah, Colin and Ava.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Our Lady of the Woods Catholic Church (10731 W 131st St, Orland Park, IL 60462). A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer's Association at ALZ.org in Geraldine's name would be appreciated.
