She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Joseph A. Rafac; her children, Kristine Kahn (Stephen), Tom Rafac (Karen), Kathleen Chase (late Walter) and John Rafac; and her siblings, Ruth Banasiak (Thomas), Charles (late Rita) and Grace Locke. She was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Poor Handmaids of Jesus Christ, Donaldson Emergency Food Program, P.O. Box 1, Donaldson, IN 46513-0001 A livestream of the service at Our Lady of the Woods will be available during mass on Friday, October 14.
