It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Eleanor F. Chapan (Palos Park, Illinois), who passed away on March 7, 2023, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Nicholas Michael Chapan; her son Michael (late Gloriann); her grandson Joshua Chapan; and her siblings, Richard and Loretta Niedzwiadek (late Edward).

She is survived by: her children, Patricia O'Neil (Michael), Denis (Judy), Suzanne and Brian Chapan (Donna); her grandchildren, Michael (Christine), Richie (Candy), Michelene O'Neil, Colleen Murphy (Dan), Shannon Roche (John), Jason, Denis, Brittany, Eric (Ximena) and Nicholas; her great grandchildren, Jacob, Erica, Lacey, Meghan, Danny, Joseph and Olivia; and her siblings, Irene Holod (Ted) and George Tarasuk (Carol). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
