She was predeceased by: her parents, Thurman Hughes and Helen Hughes; and her brother-in-law Warren Rodrian. She is survived by: her husband Richard Carriel of Palos Park, IL; her sister Carol Rodrian of Palos Park, IL; and her children, Kim Walker (NW Indiana), Daniel Walker of Lockport, IL, Patricia Barakat of Raleigh, NC, Theresa Mercier (Steve) of New Carlisle, IN, Rosalio Walker of Orland Park, IL and Alicia Truemper (Dean) of Tinley Park, IL. She is also survived by ten grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, and six step-children.
Services are private due to Covid restrictions.
