He was loved and cherished by many people including: his children, Howard (Marie), Tony (Cheri), Joel (late Gwendolyn) and Melissa O'Malley (Michael); his stepchildren, Larry Compton (Rita), Karen Rains (Brad) and Cherished; and his siblings, Nell Smith (late Sy), Ronald Gravitt (Nancy), Gayle Gravitt (Larry) and Royce Gravitt (Lottie). He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
