He is survived by: his wife Zofia; his brother-in-law Karol Szczurek; and his siblings, Rozalia Frączek (Kazimierz), Andrzej Michniak (Anna) and Józef Michniak. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews, friends, and neighbors.
