He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Federico Torres and Francisca Torres Rodriguez; his children, Juan Torres (Jessica), Gabriel and Jessica Torres; his grandchildren, JJ, Juliana, Gabriel and Giovani; and his siblings, Yolanda Gonzalez (Miguel), Federico, Socorro Soria (Hector), Gerardo, Lupe Herrera (Javier), Maria Martinez (Juan) and Miguel Torres (Lupe).
Visitation was held on Monday, January 6th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Palos-Gaidas Funeral Home (11028 SW Hwy, Palos Hills, IL 60465). A prayer will be held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 at 9:15 AM at the same location. A Mass will be held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Sacred Heart Church (8245 W 111th St, Palos Hills, IL 60465). A burial will be held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the St Mary Cemetery (8700 S Hamlin Ave, Chicago, IL 60652).
