He was predeceased by: his siblings, Alfredo, Raquel, Gilberto and Anita. He is survived by: his spouse Socorro Perez; his children, Gerard Perez (Ludivina), Myrna Contreras Losch (Jerry), Georgina Giblin (Brian) and Carol Palos (Michael); his grandchildren, Anthony Contreras, Christian Perez, Daniel Perez, Julian Perez, Michael Palos, Thomas Palos, Robert Palos, Gabriel Palos, Angelina Palos and Andrea Palos; and his sister Gloria.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 12th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Thursday, March 13th 2025 at 9:10 AM. A Mass will be held on Thursday, March 13th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Mary Star of the Sea Church (6435 S Kilbourn Ave, Chicago, IL 60629). A burial will be held on Thursday, March 13th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the Holy Sepulchre Catholic Cemetery (6001 W 111th St, Alsip, IL 60803).
