She was predeceased by: her parents, Peter Rumel and Mary Rumel; and her siblings, Bill Rumel (Faye), Chris Rumel (late Bea) and Jane Arvetis (late Chris).

She is survived by: her children, Mary Cunningham (Thomas) and Chris Hutchinson; her grandchildren, Sean Cunningham (Ana), Emma Cunningham (Ben Flynn) and Brendan Cunningham; her great grandchildren, Braedon, Miranda and Eleni; and her brother George Rumel (Joan).

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to Sts. Constantine and Helen Greek Orthodox Church, Palos Hills, IL appreciated.

Helen was the last first cousin of my grandmother, Margaret Rummel Floss. On behalf of Margaret's nine children and 24 grandchildren we wish you peace. Her father, Peter, and his brothers James and George traveled to Chicago from Palaiopyrgos, Bodia, Arkadia, and Tripoli, Greece. May their legacy live on in all of us. Love, Carrie Bliss”
