He was predeceased by: his parents, Jim Bernardo and Anne Bernardo; and his sister-in-law Betty Berni (Jack Ballentine). He is survived by: his wife Bev; his son Michael Fionda (Lana); his grandchildren, Alexa Fionda and Madison Fionda; and his sisters-in-law, Marge Greiner (late Jack), Winnie Stortzum (Jay), Cynthia Mark (Steve) and Val Lagomarcino (Paul). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Memorial contributions in lieu of flowers may be made to the Parkinson's Foundation or ASPCA.
