He was predeceased by: his wife Marie. He is survived by: his children, Charles, Christine Fink (late Charles) and Catherine Kostka (late Charles); his grandchildren, Angela Fink and Charles Kostka Jr.; and his brother-in-law Richard Kwiatkowski. He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Visitation was held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, February 7th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the Palos-Gaidas Funeral Home & Cremation Services (11028 SW Hwy, Palos Hills, IL 60465). A funeral service was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the Resurrection Catholic Cemetery (7201 Archer Rd, Justice, IL 60458).
